The Portuguese Man of War or Bluebottle (Physalia physalis) looks like a jellyfish but is actually a siphonophore composed of many zooid polyps. Within the colony, there are four types of polyp, which are responsible for flotation, feeding, reproduction and defence respectively. It can be found almost anywhere in the ocean as it relies entirely on wind and currents for movement.
